WHO IS JESUS? It's a question that has occupied the minds of scholars, sages, seekers, and skeptics for over 2,000 years. Was he a misguided religious zealot? A good moral example? A political figure? Or was he something more who calls you and I to something more in our life and mission? Throughout this series, we're going to uncover the Jesus that is presented in the Gospel of Mark. We'll explore eight vignettes that will transition us through the season of Lent, to Easter and beyond as we grapple with this question: if Jesus was so meek and mild, then why did he provoke such passionate responses - both then and now? |
