Jericho Ridge United is a club that was founded in February 2007 and played its inaugural season in the British Columbia Church Soccer League (BCCSL). Their expansion record was admirable but the real progress was made in the relationships that were built during the training times and post-game revelries. Injuries hampered the team late in the season but that is often the case when people lace up the boots after years (sometimes many years) of not playing.
Fast forwarding to 2009, the team re-entered the BCCSL with a few new faces along with some experienced returners from the '07 United squad. Having advanced to the second division, the team was overmatched early in the season, but once the team got into shape, they returned to their winning ways at the end of the season. The 2009 and 2010 teams have been managed by Joel Kooger and Aidan Lightfoot and coached by Mike Teeter. United finished the 2010 season with 3 wins, 2 ties, and 7 losses.
